To the exhibition
To accompany the exhibition Candice Breitz - Whiteface, the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden invites you to a symposium on structural racism and white supremacy.
The day is an invitation to our visitors to learn more about whiteness, white supremacy and racism in order to become more aware of life in a diverse, post-migrant society. Because structural racism is a structural problem that above all requires visibility and awareness.
The day's program will include contributions from filmmaker Oliver Hardt, artist Candice Breitz and academic Anna Greve. As the Kunsthalle would also like to connect the discussion on a regional level and is interested in linking theory, activism and social practice, talks with local initiatives from Baden-Baden and Baden-Württemberg are also planned.
