Same place, different time

On the occasion of its 70th anniversary, the Künstlerbund Baden-Württemberg returns to the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden with the exhibition Same place, different time – 70 Years of the Künstlerbund Baden-Württemberg—the very site of its first presentation in 1955. Since its founding in 1952, the Künstlerbund has brought together national and international artists, leaving a lasting impact on the art landscape of Baden-Württemberg and beyond.

The two-volume publication offers multifaceted insights into this history: Volume 1 documents seven decades of artistic practice through archival materials, photographs, and essays, while Volume 2 focuses on the current exhibition, presenting 21 artists whose work reflects the diversity of media, generations, and approaches within the association.
