  • Friday, November 25, 2022, 6 pm: Public rehearsal

Somewhere to go is a collective response to Jimmy Robert’s body of work within his solo exhibition All dressed up and nowhere to go. Conceived and performed by Alina Amer, Arwa Azouz, Hannah Brandner, Naomi Niande Boima, Nadja Degen, sarah Ama duah, Jared Marks, Holly Mia, Am Nasr, Carmen Ng, Lea Abena Pahl, Joachim Perez, Almitra Pyritidis and Kuba Stepien.

Thanks to Jimmy Robert and Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden for the invitation and support.

Childrens’
workshop

Portrait on shadows

In cooperation with artist Tatjana Golder, we are again offering a creative program for children and their adult companions in the exhibition rooms of the Kunsthalle during the exhibition All dressed up and nowhere to go. In the creative-playful workshop Portrait on shadows, the focus is on the “portrait”, in connection with the exhibition. The children can weave faces with colorful fabrics and strings and with shadow games they can explore the contrasts of light and shadow, as well as images of the self.

The workshop, which will last about an hour, will take place on the following Saturdays:

  • November 19, 2022, 11 am
  • December 03, 2022, 11 am
  • December 10, 2022, 11 am
  • December 17, 2022, 11 am
  • January 07, 2023, 11 am
  • January 14, 2023, 11 am

Registration is requested, indicating date, desired time and number of children to info@kunsthalle-baden-baden.de. The workshop is for children 5 years and older. Since we will be working with various tools, we ask that at least one adult accompany the children. The tools and various materials will be provided.
