Public transport

From Baden-Baden train station direct bus connection to Leopoldsplatz/Luisenstr. (lines 201, 205, 207, 218, 243, 244, 245). From there, walk about 200 meters in the direction of the theater and then about 100 meters in the direction of travel along Lichtentaler Allee. The Kunsthalle is on the right-hand side.

Alternatively: From Baden-Baden train station direct bus connection to Augustaplatz/Museum Frieder Burda (lines 201, 218, 245). From there, walk past the Kongresshaus and through Lichtentaler Park. After about 200 meters you will reach the Kunsthalle.

By car

A 5 Karlsruhe/Basel until exit Baden-Baden. The feeder road (= Europastraße/B 500 direction Lichtental) leads through the Michaelstunnel, take the first exit and keep left at the traffic light. From there, drive in the direction of “Centrum/Congress”.

Parking

Cars – Municipal underground garages in the immediate vicinity of the Kunsthalle: Parkgarage Kongress am Augustaplatz, Parkhaus an der Lichtentaler Straße 41, Parkgarage Kurhaus Casino.

Information for wheelchair users

Use the entrance to the Museum Frieder Burda via Lichtentaler Allee. Visitors arriving by car stop in Friedrichstraße and enter the Kunsthalle via the rear entrance. You can enter “Friedrichstraße 2b” (the building opposite) as your destination in your navigation system.

The Kunsthalle’s restroom facilities are barrier-free. Toilets for the disabled can be found in the Museum Frieder Burda, which is accessible without barriers.

Delivery address

As above direction “Congress” (= B 500 direction Lichtental). At the 2nd traffic light after the Michaelstunnel keep left again and turn into Bertholdstraße. After you have crossed the river Oos on Bertholdtraße, turn into the second right side street, Friedrichstraße. You can enter “Friedrichstraße 2b” (the house opposite) as your destination in your navigation system.
